In a time of increased scrutiny and discrimination against gender diverse people it is one of my greatest privileges to help people get untangled from what can be a very toxic culture.

I support people dealing with internalized transphobia, discrimination, and challenges with finding community.

There is also such joy in gender related care! I love talking about gender euphoria and exploring how different ways of being in the world can bring you fulfillment and wellness.

frequently asked questions

Do you provide treatment or letters of support for people under 18?

No, at this time I only work with people 18+.

Do you write letters of support for starting hrt or other forms of medical transition?

I do! This process looks different for everyone, but I am always collaborative and ensure you feel accurately represented whenever I communicate with someone else on your behalf.

How do you define gender?

Gender is deeply personal. I find people’s experiences with gender are influenced by age, race, culture, spirituality and other intersections of identity. What I am NOT is a TERF or someone who subscribes to biological essentialism. You define your gender, I am here to support you in that process.

What if I’m not sure what my gender is?

It sounds like we’ll have a lot to talk about! I’m familiar with many different philosophies of gender, and have worked with people who are trans, nonbinary, agender and people who ultimately decided cisgender fits them best. I’m not invested in you identifying in a particular way—I’m here to support you as you explore.

What qualifications do you have to do this type of work?

I have been exploring gender in my personal and professional life since 2008, and have taken advanced academic courses related to gender and identity. I seek out other forms of gender exploration, including being in community with gender diverse people, and seeking out specialized trainings related to gendered experiences.

As a WPATH member I engage in ongoing education about how to best write letters of support for people seeking medical and other forms of gender transition.
