Helping queer people with chronic illness build a life worth living.

My approach is influenced by my experiences with chronic illness and queer identity, and is informed by work with multiply-marginalized people. I have advocated for children and families impacted by the legal system in Indiana, and have supported people with developmental, intellectual and physical disabilities.

I’ve provided teletherapy to people incarcerated in Michigan, and incorporate an abolitionist, anti-racist, anti-capitalist lens to my work.

As a clinical social worker I have supported children and adult survivors of interpersonal violence, and I find that while I prefer to work with adults now, I am tuned in to the ways your past impacts your present.

Education

I earned my BA in Gender Studies and English with an emphasis on Queer Theory from Indiana University in 2012, and completed my MSW focusing on clinical work with children and families in 2018 from the University of Michigan.

I have advanced training in Gender Affirming Care, EMDR, and other forms of somatic and spiritual healing.
